After having had the pleasure to see Burton, Burton and Randy, and the come-back original Guess Who, we finally had a table about 20 feet from this Canadian Living Legend of Rock ! Burton's voice is as awesome and powerful as ever and his pure enjoyment of his music and entertaining his loyal fans is amazing. BURTON come back to CASINO REGINA soon !

Burton and band, at age 15 I saw the group at Montana State University-Bozeman. I proceeded to buy anything Guess Who I could get. I've wanted to see you again since 1973. What a treat this was for me after 42 years. You are all enormously gifted. I'll be back much sooner this next time!

Rocked the House - made a Wednesday a Saturday

Apr 16, 2015 by Michael Cummings
Venue: Knuckleheads Saloon •
City, State: Kansas City, MO •
Date: 04/15/20105

What an amazing show - he crammed in darn near all the hits we came to hear. Goodness gracious; he still loves the stage, and his band provides great help but allows him to own the stage. Of all the late 60's, early 70's stars that are now in their late 60's, early 70's - he may have held up the best. I will be looking to enjoy another evening with him soon.

Kansas City Concert

Venue: Knuckeheads •
City, State: Kansas City, MO •
Date: April 15, 2015

Great time last night. BC was very engaging with the audience, his voice was strong and clear. I always love it when a performer gives some backstory to a song, as he often did. Go see him if he's anywhere near.

Great show! Saw the Guess Who in 1971...Burton still sounds fantastic at 67 and the band was great! Great songs that bring back wonderful memories. BC is a very gracious entertainer. Just a fun evening!

This was our second time seeing Burton in concert at the Skagit Casino, he sure knows how to entertain the audience. Sounded great, it sure was wonderful to hear his old songs that had been around forever.

Experience A Legend

Mar 29, 2015 by Don MacIver
Venue: River Rock Casino Resort •
City, State: Richmond, BC •
Date: Sept. 27, 2014

That there are few living legends of music still gracing center stage today is a miracle and a blessing. Burton Cummings leads in this category with outstanding performances over five decades into a remarkable career and remains an industry leader.

What can you expect at a live Burton Cummings concert event? After seeing this amazing recording artist countless times, where do I begin? The legend's voice is truly better than ever, deep, soulful yet rocking vocals that champion the best of them.

Cummings' fingers still rock the keyboard in stunning fashion and the pure joy of seeing this man loving what he has done for so long and so successfully is absolute magic. The audience is taken back on a rock n roll journey that began in the sixties for this music giant. Hit after hit, rollicking rock and the most tender, moving ballads...

Burton Cummings and his outstanding tour band leave their audience thrilled, emotional and standing in ovation song after song and even the younger generation has connected in spirited song...albeit songs recorded decades ago and they're singing along word for word...truly cool to see and experience.

Burton Cummings has made an unparalleled connection with his audience and they come from far and wide, even flying in from across the country, to see this treasured artist perform to sold out crowds again and again.

The anticipation for the next concert experience is almost too much to bear. There's a reason why legends are few and far between. This man is a MUST see for anyone who loves unaltered, straight ahead rock n roll...the way it was and still ought to be.

A Canadian Rock Legend sounding great!!

My wife and I attended the show on my birthday. It was a great present. The band and Burton were tight and I especially heard vintage Guess Who as they closed the show with a favourite "Share the Land"
The icing on the birthday cake was have the man sign the lid on my piano!!!!

I can't believe Burton, at the age of 67, can "bring it" at the level he does. Two hours of phenomenal hit after hit. The energy was infectious. The voice sounds better than ever, the band was tight and the joint was rocking. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Thanks Burton.

Heard several people comment at Skagit (17th) about not having seen BC in years and thinking he has even more energy and sounds even better now (if such were possible.) Great show! (Even from the last row. Voting for a larger NW WA venue!)

  • http://www.facebook.com/eurotim Tim Dakin

Loved the concert in Victoria back in December, was excited to go but was blown away at how good it was. Would love the chance to see Burton again whenever possible.

Seen Burton at Jack Singer Concert Hall on Dec 3rd, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta. He was totally awesome, you would never know he was almost 65 yrs of age at this time because he sang as he always did and rocked our socks off! Loved every single second of that Concert!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/bobbie.crawford1 Bobbie Crawford

I was so disappointed when I was unable to get tickets for your Bow, WA show. But now I know it was so that I would get the best seats for the best performance ever in Aberdeen at the D & R. You never sounded better and the whole show felt very personal. And you sang Mac The Knife. Thank you so much ! When I closed my eyes I could of been back at the Paramount in the late seventies listening to you as you sound just as good as ever.

  • http://www.facebook.com/randy.anderson.731135 Randy Anderson

  • Paul Sutton

We saw you in Canada when you recorded “Up Close and Alone”! It was a very memorable night! Last year we drove to LA to see you at the County Fair. To bad it was a short set for you and us. Now, how about some SW dates closer to home, Phoenix or Tucson? Hint, hint! There are some great venues to play at, either a solo show or with the band. Can’t wait to see you again.

  • Jeff Sanchez

Drove up from S. Seattle to see the show at Skagit Valley Casino. Bought our tickets and booked our room 6 months prior. Saw you at Key Arena in 2005? for Guess Who reunion tour. I knew that you would deliver as Burton Cummings. I’m so awful god damn glad I wish I was in your shoes.

  • Jim

Attended the Saturday, May 18th show at Skagit Valley Casino Resort. As a former Canadian, I have every record that he made and still listen to them all! He sounds the same as he did 30 years ago! Best concert I have ever been to!
Burton. In case you read this, I was the guy to your right along the back wall giving the “thumbs up” most of the night. My only regret was hearing the lady next to me, who walked in right after I did say she just bumped into you in the hotel hallway. Can’t help but think how close I was to meeting one of the greatest recording artists on the planet! My bucket list would have been complete! God love you! Hope to see you again soon.

  • Jim

Burton Cummings is the quintessential rock star! We saw him in northeastern Nevada about a year ago. It was just like a big private party. His show is amazing; his voice is as good or maybe even better than 30 years ago.If you ever get a chance to see him you will not be disappointed.

Hey! Did anybody get tickets to the show in Niagara Falls? When I saw the show I booked a hotel and could never get tickets through here or the Casino. This site kept saying none available and the casino kept saying none available at this time. Huh? Did I miss something? When did they go on sale? Strange. There are some on the scalper sites. What the? If anybody has any they can’t use let me know. I definitely need a vacation! Oh btw I am on the Songza site, going on a roadtrip with Burton! hahahaha Nice to hear what you listen to, all kinds of music, like me.

  • Lonni Cummings

I saw Burton last May in Washington state. Best show I have ever seen! This was the fourth time I have seen him over the past 25 years and he always puts on a stellar performance. He gets better every time I see him. He did a meet and greet after the show and I got to meet him and get his autograph, I never imagined I would ever get to meet him. He is the kindest most sincere person, and he sat and talked with me for a half hour after the show. He is very genuine and truly cares about his fans! I will definitely see him again when he is close to my area. Even though we share the same last name ( which is really cool), we are not related.

  • http://www.litwit.ca Neil

    Happy Birthday Burton Cummings

He was born in the ‘Peg on this day
Where he started to sing and to play
In a rock and roll band
That was known through the land
Of canucks and the U. S. of A.

With The Deverons he made his debut
With a singing career to pursue
    They had modest success
    But split up nonetheless
Then he opted to join The Guess Who

    Randy Bachman and Burton began
Writing songs for the boys in the band
    They recorded a few
    With a studio crew
And a nationwide tour was planned

They burst on to the charts with ‘These Eyes’
Then with ‘Laughing’ they truly arrived
    Later Bachman resigned
    When their friendship declined
After many great songs were contrived

Ten years later the group called it quits
But Burton was still writing hits
    In a solo career
    Spanning many a year
Many notes have emerged from his lips

    Now Burton is semi-retired
Having done all the things he desired
    Life is calm and sedate
    On his massive estate
With the platinum and gold he’s acquired

Now he enters the 68th year
Of the path he was destined to steer
    And he’s still doing shows
    As we’re tapping our toes
To the songs we are longing to hear

  • Ian Goldie

I went to go see Burton Cummings at the Orleans in Las Vegas on December 6th and it was the best concert I have ever seen. He has so much energy and he puts on quite the show. Now I’m looking forward for him to come to Calgary on April 23rd and I will definitely be there to see him. He’s such a proud Canadian and an icon. Keep up the great work, Burton!

  • Bob

Hi Burton, just wondering if you have any concerts planned in Ontario for 2015; Casino Rama, Huntsville, heck anywhere?

  • Charlotte Meyer

Burton—I absolutely love your voice!! I have been dying to hear you in concert for years. Will you please come to the East Coast? You could

  • jj

Woohoo! BC at BB’s! No tickets on sale. Boohoo! Saw your buddy Randy B playing with his blues band at the Ethical Society, (church) In NYC a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic – he had a broken hand, snuck out the side but the couple next to me got to meet him on his way out, they had a pamphlet of a show he did when they went on their first date, now married, he signed it. They were ecstatic! Very cool! His arm was in a sling so I guess they bonded. haha

  • Tim Hendricks

I would give up one bad habit, your choice if you would honor us with a show in Utah. I know i’ll never see the Beatles or Led Zeplin, but there’s still a chance to see my all time favorite Guess Who. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed.
